4. Current status of road transport in Vietnam
Currently, road transport accounts for the largest proportion in the domestic transport structure of Vietnam - about 70% of the total volume of freight transport.
However, besides positive contributions, the industry is also facing many challenges:

- Developing environmentally friendly vehicles: Encouraging the use of electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles to replace traditional gasoline-powered vehicles.
- Strengthening state management and business support policies: Towards transparency and professionalization of the transport industry.
Road transport is the "backbone" of the national transport network and supply chain.
